Butterflies

For this piece I start out doing a photoshop tutorial for fun. I thought it turned out well, so I wanted to add to it. With the butterflies on the top layer added a nice pop of color. 

Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park & Aquarium Photography

Last month I went on vacation to Florida. One of the places I went to was Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park. The spring water is warm so the manatees come in from the ocean to warm up during the winter. I was lucky to see two manatees. One was an adult and the other was a baby. The other side of the park was a wildlife walk with native animals, but there was a one hippopotamus.

This manatee was one of the many that was in the hot tub. These manatees were rescued from the wild and are being let back in the wild after they get better.

 

This calf was in shallow water. I believe it's mother was the other manatee that I saw. 

On the wildlife walk there was a reptile house with alligator, snakes, spiders and ect. In the reptile house there was one albino turtle.

Owl.

The Hippopotamus. There is a story behind the hippopotamus. Around the hot spring there used to be a zoo and when the zoo went out of business the animals were sent to other zoos. But Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park decided to keep the hippo. 

I also went to an aquarium in florida, inside they had a bird room with all kinds of different species of birds.

Friedensreich Hundertwasser Inspired Painting

About a year ago I started this painting. I was inspired by Friedensreich Hundertwasser. What I like about his work is how everything looks like a collage, but you can see the elements come together.

To finish this piece I added a few more elements to my design and alternated from warm to cold colors.

Picture In Picture

 I really enjoyed doing this project. It was very fast and fun.

Torn Magazine Art

I used old magazines and tore them into pieces to make a picture. 

Necklace

I found an owl key chain for about 5 dollars. I wanted to use the owl charm on a necklace. I also got some beads to go with it for about 3 dollars. 

I took an eye pin and put the beads on. Then looped the other side, to hold them on.

Once all the beads are on the eye pin, cut the necklace chain and hook the chain into the loops.

Final piece.

Word Design

I used both Photoshop and Illustrator to create a image inside of the letters.

Macro Photography

All of these photos are straight from my camera. I did not use any photo editing on these photos. The camera I used was a Fujifilm S700.
